ASTR 4020 - Astrophysics II: Galactic Structure and Cosmology

3 Credit Hours
Prerequisite: ASTR 4010 
Description: Includes galactic coordinates, galactic rotation curves, N-body concepts and the viral theorem, Galactic formation and evolution, external galaxies, galaxy cluster evolution, Hubble’s law and the distance scale, large-scale structure, cosmology and the particle physics connection.
