AAST 3400 - Blacks, Film and Society

3 Credit Hours
Prerequisite: ENGL 2030 ;
Description:  We will explore the role movies and television have played in the early formation and nurturing of racism and later on in moderating it, and we will also examine how black men and women historically have been portrayed and in relationship to other images of black found throughout popular culture.
