MUS 2240 - Foundations of Music Education

Credit Hours: 2 Credit Hours
Prerequisite: MUS 1057 
Description: Addresses many of the State Department of Education competencies including curriculum, musical assessment, and managerial competencies necessary for the 21st century music teacher. A history of music in education and various philosophies of education will be examined. Four (4) hours of field experience will be required
