PSY 4050 - Applied Psychopharmacology Credit Hours: 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: PSY 1010 with a grade of “C” or higher or permission of instructor Description: An introduction to psychopharmacology that will examine prescription, legal and illegal drug effects on the brain and behavior, including withdrawal and abuse. Clinical, legal, and ethical aspects will also be discussed. A NIH grant proposal will also be taught and evaluated.
