MUS 4500 - Music Curriculum and Assessment

Credit Hours 3
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Junior level hearing and Transition 2  or permission by department.
Description:  Examination and application of formative and summative music assessment strategies and techniques, curricular scope and sequence for general music classes and performing ensembles (kindergarten through 12th grade).  Assessment data to guide musical and pedagogical choices.  Includes field experiences.  Designed to take place during the Practicum semester.
