NURS 5612 - Advanced Pediatric Health Nursing

Prerequisite: NURS 5100  
Description: This course focuses on advancing the knowledge base of professional nurses on selected acute and chronic illnesses impacting the health of infants, children and adolescents. Emphasis is placed on acquiring advanced, specialized knowledge of pediatric health at a graduate level. Selected research from a variety of disciplines will be analyzed and discussed from theoretical and evidenced-based practice perspectives.
