GERM 3530 - German for Business and Professional Life (Effective Spring 2022)

Credit Hours 3
Prerequisite: GERM 2020  
Description: Introduction to the German business world (economic/political system), providing students with a basic, practical set of tools (cultural knowledge/vocabulary/relevant history).  Topics include the European Union, environmental protection policies, multiculturalism, and intercultural communication between US and German business practices, and navigating the world of subsidized cultural life in Germany (for music majors).

The class will cater to students from other disciplines such as education/STEM (engineering)/nursing on an as-needed basis.
