GEOL 4990 - Geology Field Camp

Prerequisite: Completion of courses required for Geology Concentration or permission of instructor
Six week intensive experience in measuring section, stratigraphic and structural interpretation and geologic mapping in a wide variety of igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary terranes. Projects involve producing geologic maps and reports. Aerial photographic iterpretation skills, mapping, and location determination with GPS.
