The   Department   of   Computer   Science   and   Information Technology  offers  a  Bachelor  of  Science  degree  with a major in  Computer  Science.  The Computer  Science major covers  the  technical  areas  of  computing  with  an  emphasis  on programming  and  algorithm  design.  It  includes  a  significant mathematics component.   It has only one concentration, Computer Systems, and has no major core or electives.

The Computer Systems concentration includes a significant mathematics component and is intended for those with excellent mathematical and programming skills.
