Description of Major

Graduates in History can pursue any number of careers. Only about 1/3 of our graduates follow careers in education, many have careers in management in various fields. Some continue their education and attend graduate school.

  4. Two HIST courses (6 hours) from courses numbered 4000-4499
  5. Two HIST courses (6 hours) from courses numbered 4500-4890
  6. One HIST course (3 hours) numbered 3001-4890
  7. HIST 4999  Senior Capstone (3 hours)
  8. General Electives (39  hours)
