The Department of Computer Science and Information Technology offers a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Computer Science.   The Computer Science major covers the technical areas of computing with an emphasis on programming and algorithm design.  It includes a significant mathematics component.  This Computer Theory and Systems concentration contains most of the content in the original computer science concentration but a few modifications were made to relfect current trends.

Intelligent Robotics

This concentration provides students with a background in software development for autonomous robots. Students will study math, computer science, artificial intelligence and robotics.

Software Engineering

This concentration provides students with a background in software engineering. Unlike the Computer Theory and Systems concentration, which focuses on traditional topics in computer science, the Software Engineering concentration focuses on the areas needed to develop and manage large software systems. Topics include requirements, software design and architecture, testing, software quality assurance, and project management.
