The faculty of the College of Behavioral and Health Sciences, with support from professional staff, provide undergraduate and/or graduate education to students that instills in them a knowledge of, and an appreciation for, empirical research and evidence-based practice in their chosen field as the basis for understanding and improving the human condition.
In addition to being the academic home for majors in nursing, health and human performance, political science, psychology, social work, and sociology, the College also offers minors in coaching, environmental studies, family studies, health, health science, international relations, leadership science, military science, occupational health psychology, physical education, political science, psychology, and sociology.
The College also house the Center for the Study of Military Life. The purpose of this Center is to support research activities that seek to develop a more in-depth understanding of all aspects of military life as they impact the individual service member, military families, military communities, and the nation.
