NURS 2030 - Introduction to Nursing

Credit Hours: 4 Credit Hours
Prerequisite: BIOL 2010/2011 , 2020/2021 , 2300/2301 ; PSY 1010 , 3100 ;  MATH 1530 , SOC 1010 ; Corequisite: NURS 2031 
Description: Description: This course introduces the student to the role of the BSN nurse generalist.  Course content includes introductory concepts and skills fundamental to understanding the social, interpersonal, and technological components of professional nursing.  Quality care, safety, legal and ethical situations are introduced and applied in both the laboratory and clinical settings.
