NURS 5545 - Advanced Women’s Health and Perinatal Nursing

Prerequisite: Admission to the MSN program;
Pre/Corequisite: NURS 5101 , 5102 , 5103 , 5104 ;
Description: This course focuses on the care of women’s health issues and the pre, peri, and post natal care of both mother and newborn.  Nursing strategies for illness prevention, health promotion, and clinical management of both acute and chronic conditions are addressed.
