Prerequisite: Public Health major or Permission of Department Chair
Description: This course provides a foundation for public health practice by helping students understand the social and
structural determinants of population and environmental health from local to global scales. Students will
critically analyze how structural bias, social inequities, racism, politics, and globalization impact health.
