Description: The course integrates prior theoretical and practical knowledge of the diagnosis, management, and evaluation of mental health for individuals and families across the lifespan. An emphasis is placed on a holistic approach to promote mental wellness. A variety of treatment modalities, both pharmacologic and psychotherapeutic, are included in the course. The course utilizes interprofessional domains to guide evidence-based, safe/effective care and includes technological and cultural considerations.
