MATH 1010 - Mathematics for Society

Credit Hours 3
Prerequisite: MATH 1000  or ACT-M score of 19 or higher (or equivalent SAT or COMPASS score or Developmental Studies Math scores of 4).
Description: This course examines how different areas of mathematics explain and shape our world, as well as how we view and experience it. Students with high school deficiencies in mathematics must sign up for E-sections which include a mandatory lab or remove the mathematics deficiency by completing MATH 1000 with a “C” or better.
