ENGL 5460 - Graduate Literary Journal Internship

Description: In the Fall, this hands-on opportunity to learn publishing consists of crafting application material for internal editorial positions, attending meetings to establish evaluation criteria, reading, voting, and providing commentary on weekly submissions, and completing a reflection paper about this learning experience. 

In the Spring, students continue their work with Zone 3 in preparation for the Zone 3 Writers Festival in the summer. Students gain practice with budgets, event planning, coordination with visiting authors selected the previous Fall, and collaboration with festival speakers and attendees.
