EDUC 7042 - Higher Education Law

Description: This course focuses on the higher education law and ethics in the United States, including the university as an institution, its employees, and its students. Further, this course will help inform students’ capacity as transformational leaders in higher education as they analyze policy issues using the statutes, cases, regulations, and legislative history as tools to realize equal access to educational excellence, respect for cultural and linguistic diversity, accommodation and acceptance of the differently able, and appropriate uses of technology and copyrighted material.
