FIN 5020 - Financial Management

Credit Hours 3
Prerequisite: MBA Majors only.
Description: This course will focus on the analysis of the capital structure, dividend policy, and working capital policy of the firm. Additional topics include but are not limited to the manager’s role in corporate planning, risk measurement, valuation, cost of capital, analytical tools used for the acquisition and allocation of funds evaluating capital investment proposals, performing cash flow analysis, and applying the capital asset pricing model. Instruction will include computer models and appropriate financial software.
