Description: This course is an introduction to teaching STEM and creating inclusive curricula through art and play, which have a crucial impact on the development of a child’s aesthetics, culture, and education formation. Develops competency in selecting and using materials, resources, and instructional strategies to foster young children’s problem-solving and higher-order thinking skills. The intent is to provide future teachers with the necessary tools and instructional strategies to develop a successful understanding of the importance of art and play that enriches student learning. Development of early science, math, and social skills will be emphasized.
