Exercise Science Concentration

The Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science will prepare students to sit for the Exercise Physiologist Certification through the American College of Sports Medicine, the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist test through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and prepare students for graduate study in Kinesiology or Exercise Science. The degree will be 120 credits hours to include an 18 credit hour major core to be shared with the second concentration that is being proposed concurrently. Additionally, the concentration will require 25 credit hours, 35 credit hours of general electives and 42 hours of General Education credit hours.
