Public Health Education Concentration

This M.S. in Health and Human Performance with a concentration in Public Health Education will focus on developing the skills and competencies necessary to improve community health and promote wellness. Coursework includes research, statistics, foundations in health education, community organizing in public health, grant writing, and epidemiology to name a few. Ten courses are required to complete the program and are offered online. Students entering this field can expect to work in healthcare facilities, colleges, public health departments, nonprofits, or private businesses.

HHP is seeking THEC approval for a new Master of Public Health (MPH) program.  If approved, the program will transition from 30 to 42 credit-hours starting fall 2022.  The program will remain fully online.
