APSU’s College of Graduate Studies has general minimum admissions requirements for all student types (First-time Graduate, Graduate Transfer, International, and Non-Degree Seeking) set for the University and publishes those requirements in the Graduate Bulletin and APSU Policy 2:038 Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions Policy. The College of Graduate Studies general admissions requirements include a conferred bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and a minimum GPA of 2.5 using a 4-point scale. Each graduate program may impose additional admissions requirements as relevant and necessary.

Admission to the Master of Business Administration

  • Application Fee:  $45 domestic or $55 international
  • Official transcripts from all colleges attended
  • Verification of lawful presence in the United States (i.e. submit a license or other approved document)

Transfer Policy

Students may transfer up to six hours of approved coursework from an AACSB-accredited institution. The graduate coordinator or appropriate faculty member of the graduate program will evaluate the course(s) being proposed for transfer to determine suitability. No course with a grade below a “B” will be considered for transfer. Transfer of credit should be completed by the end of the student’s first term.

For students who have already earned an MS in Management or the Responsible Human Resource Management Graduate Certificate, it is possible that up to nine hours of these previous credits may be counted towards the completion of an MBA.  Please contact the Graduate Program Coordinator or the Graduate Academic Advisor for help with this.
