Pre-Professional Concentration

The Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Pre-professional is designed for students interested in pursuing graduate programs in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or physician assistant studies. The coursework also fulfills the requirements to sit for the Exercise Physiologist Certification through the American College of Sports Medicine and the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and prepares students for graduate study in Kinesiology or Exercise Science

 

Admission to this concentration is selective. To be considered, students must meet the following requirements:

  1. Earned at least 30 undergraduate credit hours
  2. Earned a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  3. Earned a grade of B or higher in Math 1530
  4. Earned a grade of B or higher in Biology 2010/2011
