Ancient Mediterranean Civilization Minor

The minor in Ancient Mediterranean Civilization is well-suited for students who are interested in attaining a background in the Ancient Greek and Roman civilizations from multiple angles. The curriculum provides a general grounding in either Ancient Greek or Latin with many options for taking courses in Ancient Mediterranean literature, culture, and archaeology. This minor also offers students the chance to participate in the Ancient Mediterranean Club, be initiated into Eta Sigma Phi, the national Classical Studies honorary organization, and publish in Austin Peay’s own Philomathes: An Online Journal for Undergraduate Research in Classics.
