PHYS 3630 - Electricity and Magnetism I Credit Hours 3 Prerequisite: PHYS 2120 /2121 , ENGR 3004 , and MATH 2110 all with grades of “C” or higher. Description: Electric and magnetic field theory: Coulomb’s Law, Gauss’ Law, Ampere’s Law, Faraday’s Law, Maxwell’s equations for electrostatics and magnetostatics, Maxwell’s equations for the dynamic case, radiating systems and guided waves. Integral calculus and vectors are used extensively.
