PHYS 2500/2501 - Computational Methods for Scientists and Engineers II4 Credit Hours Prerequisite: Admission to the Governor’s School for Computational Physics; Corequisite: PHYS 2501 Description: An introduction to the application of computational solutions to problems in physics. Includes an introduction to topics in first-year physics, algorithm development, and basic scientific programming skills. Focus is on computational solutions to differential equations (initial and boundary value problems) and their application to physical problems. Physical models will be developed and experimentally tested.
