PHYS 3030 - Electricity and Magnetism3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: PHYS 3005 , MATH 3120 with grades of “C” or higher Description: Electric and magnetic field theory: Coulomb’s Law, Gauss’ Law, Ampere’s Law, Faraday’s Law, Maxwell’s equations for electrostatics and magnetostatics, Maxwell’s equations for the dynamic case, radiating systems and guided waves. Integral calculus and vectors are used extensively.
