ACCT 3110 - Cost Accounting 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: BB 1 with all grades of “C” or higher Description: In-depth coverage of principles, techniques, and challenges of modern cost accounting and cost management used within organizations for planning, control, and decision-making from a strategic perspective. Topics of current interest include: job order and process costing, cost behavior, joint and by-product cost allocation, activity-based costing, variable costing, budgeting, standard costing systems, variance analysis, performance measurement, and quality control.
