The faculty of the College of Behavioral and Health Sciences, with support from professional staff, has an enduring commitment to academic endeavors and community outreach based on empirical research and evidence-based practice designed to educate students and the community about the human condition and ways to improve it.
In addition to being the academic home for undergraduate majors in nursing, health and human performance, political science, psychological science, social work, and sociology, the College also offers graduate degrees in health and human performance, industrial-organizational psychology, counseling, nursing, and social work, and a graduate certificate in community and organizational leadership. Minors are available in coaching, environmental studies, family studies, health, health science, international relations, leadership science, military science, occupational health psychology, physical education, political science, psychological science, and sociology.
