The Leadership Science Program shares and expands the science and practice of leadership to equip current and future leaders. The program offers both individual courses and an 18-hour minor that bring together theory, research, and practice for students who wish to complement their major with the study of leadership. Open to all university students regardless of major, the curriculum is designed to expand students’ learning experiences, enhance their career prospects, and enrich their personal and professional lives.
Students must complete 18 hours overall and a minimum of 12 hours of LDSP prefix courses to earn a minor in Leadership Science.

Leadership Science Core: 3 Credit Hours
Complete the following three (3) hours: Leadership Science Elective(s): 3 to 9 Credit Hours
Complete a minimum of three hours from the following list. - LDSP 3100 - Organizational Dynamics, Politics, and Change 3
- LDSP 3110 - Innovation and creativity 3
- LDSP 3120 - Developing Leaders in Organizations 3
- LDSP 3130 - Judgment and Decision Making 3
- LDSP 3140 - Leadership as Social Influence 3
- LDSP 3150 - Leadership and Power 3
- LDSP 3160 - Strategic Leadership 3
- LDSP 4511, 4512, 4513, - 4514, 4515, 4516, 4517, 4518, 4519, 4520 - Vital Topics in Leadership (1 credit hour each) 1 hour each
- LDSP 4610, 4620, 4630, - 4640, 4650, 4660, 4670, 4680, 4690, 4700 - Emerging Issues in Leadership (3 hours each) 3
Discipline-Specific Electives or Additional Leadership Science Electives: 6 Credit Hours:
Complete an additional six (6) hours from the LDSP courses listed immediately above, six (6) hours from the non-LDSP courses listed immediately below, or six (6) hours from a combination of LDSP courses not already completed and non-LDSP courses. Students in majors that do not require a minor may be permitted to double-count up to six hours of non-LDSP courses toward both their major and their minor. Check with your major advisor. For students in majors that do require a minor, check with your major advisor to see if double-counting is permitted. 3 hours from the following:
