Sociology Minor

The Sociology minor provides a general overview to the discipline of sociology.

Requirements: 18 Credit Hours (Total)

Students minoring in Sociology must complete the following required courses (9 credits):
SOC 1010 - Introduction to Sociology 3
SOC 2050 - Social Problems 3
SOC 2900 - Marriage and the Family 3

Electives (Sociology Electives): 9 Credit Hours

Students must select three additional Sociology courses (9 credits) of their choosing to satisfy the minor requirements (18 credits total):
