NURS 2040 - Introduction to Pharmacology

1 Credit Hours
Prerequisite: BIOL 2010/2011 , 2020/2021 , 2300/2301 ; PSY 1010 , 3100 ; MATH 1530 ; SOC 1010 
Description: Provides the basis for study of pharmacology principles. Includes safe dosage calculation and intravenous medication delivery including fluid and electrolyte imbalances. Prepares the beginning nursing student for future pharmacology courses in the nursing program.
