HHP 3600 - Communication and Advocacy

3 Credit Hours
Prerequisite: HHP 2250  or 2050 ;
Description: Students will develop knowledge and skills to become an effective advocate for health.  Goals, include identifying issues that require advocacy, creating and delivering messages using communication theory, assessing and utilizing technologies, evaluating communication/advocacy efforts, and assessing the impact of existing and proposed policies on health.
