SPED 5801 - Introduction to Autism-Graduate

Credit Hours 3
Description: This course is designed for graduate students seeking advanced in-depth study of children with autism. Covered are definitions, assessment procedures used for labeling children as autistic and theories and controversies in etiology and treatment. Required is a 15 hour practicum experience with children labeled on the autism spectrum.
