CPSY 8503 - Practicum III in Counseling Psychology

Credit Hours 1
Prerequisite: CPSY 8501 , CPSY 8502  
Description: Third year supervised training experience that will be completed primarily in an off-campus community based site (or an immersive experience at the APSU Student Counseling Center or APSU training clinic). Site placement will be based on each trainee’s professional goals and individualized learning plan. Trainee will spend the majority of their hours at the clinical site engaged in activities specific to that site. Trainees will be expected to complete an average of 500 hours over the course of this year long practicum. Students will be expected to maintain malpractice insurance.
