PSYC 7012 - Qualitative Research Methods

Credit Hours 3
Prerequisite: Admission to the CPSY PsyD program or permission of the instructor
Description: This course is a graduate level introduction to qualitative research. We will review a number of research studies that demonstrate different qualitative research methods and examine some of the epistemological foundations that motivate and inform the practices of qualitative inquiry. We will also explore and practice some of the activities associated with executing a qualitative research study. The course includes a specialization in qualitative research design, research ethics, and practical application of interviews and observation data collection methods.
