MUS 5523 - German Diction for Singers

Description: Fundamentals of correct pronunciation of the German language for speaking and more specifically for singing. A detailed explanation of the International Phonetic Alphabet and how it applies to the German language. Some of the song and opera repertoire of the language is also studied.
