Description: Students are introduced to Hispanic culture in all its complex forms, both through the analysis
of social issues exploring cultural studies theory and research.
In addition, students will acquire basic level and field-specific Spanish communication skills
applicable in various professional working environments through extensive practice in speaking
and listening as well as reading and writing.
