NURS 5812 - Advanced Psychiatric Practicum II

Credit Hours 3
Prerequisite: NURS 5811 and NURS 5712
Description: The clinical course will continue assimilation into the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner role at an intermediate level. The focus of the course is application of diagnostic reasoning and advanced therapeutics for mental health disorders in individuals and families across the lifespan, with a focus on specialty populations (children, adolescents, and geriatrics). (180 clinical hours).
