BIOL 3050/3051 - Microbial Diversity (and lab)

Prerequisite: BIOL 1110/1111  with a grade of “C” or higher Corequisite: BIOL 3051
The evoluntionary process will provide an over reaching theme in a comparative study of the morphology, physiology, and ecology of representative micro-organisms.  The co-evolution of hosts and pathogens will also be discussed.  The term micro-organism includes subcellular viruses, bacteria, protistans and microscopic fungi.
