The Women’s and Gender Studies Program offers interdisciplinary training for examining the complex questions and practices related to women and gender. Students have opportunities to engage in research, creative work and internships as well as campus and community activities. The Women’s and Gender Studies minor offers a wide range of courses that focus on gender, race, class, sexual orientation, sexual identity and disabilities. Students are empowered with the knowledge, skills and resources about issues in the area of social justice locally, nationally, and internationally.

WGS 2050 - Women and Culture: Introduction to Women’s and Gender Studies 3
WGS 2060 - Introduction to LGBTQ Studies 3
DIVR 4020 - Capstone Seminar in Social Justice 3
AAST - Any three (3) credit hours AAST course with approval of WGS Coordinator
