Leadership and Organizational Administration (B.P.S.)

The bachelor’s of Leadership and Organizational Administration degree is designed as a degree-completion program. Credit hours earned through associate degree programs, other universities, military transfer credits, and/or credit awarded for certifications may be applied toward the 120-credit hours needed to earn the degree.

The degree consists of a common general education core, upper division major requirements and electives, as well as an applied technology concentration or a minor combined with elective credits to meet the 120 credit hours for graduation. The bachelor’s degree in Leadership and Organizational Administration provides an opportunity for a seamless transition from the associate degree in order to help meet an individual student’s educational and career goals. Students work closely with their academic advisors in determining their curriculum requirements.

Leadership and Organizational Administration


Hospitality Administration Concentration


The major goal of this concentration is to provide an opportunity for students with associate degrees, certificates, and training in the hospitality/restaurant/hotel/culinary arts areas to complete a bachelor’s degree.  These students will be able to utilize their lower division coursework as well as their work experiences in addition to the prescribed upper division coursework and other credits required for a bachelor’s degree.  The program will be offered online in order to accommodate the non-traditional student, military students, and others not geographically located in the APSU area.  Total credits required for this program:  120 Credit Hours.
