Description of Major
Graduates in History can pursue any number of careers. Only about 1/3 of our graduates follow careers in education, many have careers in management in various fields. Some continue their education and attend graduate school.

- Take two (2) courses of the following: HIST HIST 2010 /2010E (3 hours); HIST 2020 (3 hours); HIST 2030 (3 hours)
- HIST 2310 (3 hours); HIST 2320 (3 hours).
- HIST 3000 Historical Methods
- Two HIST courses (6 hours) from courses numbered 4000-4499
- Two HIST courses (6 hours) from courses numbered 4500-4890
- One HIST course (3 hours) numbered 3001-4890 (excludes HIST 4410)
- HIST 4999 Senior Capstone (3 hours)
- General Electives (45 hours)
