The Department of Teaching and Learning offers a graduate certificate in Special Education K-8 Interventionists. The Certificate Program has five graduate Special Education courses. These courses contain essential curriculum needed for in-service teachers to be able to obtain the content necessary to take the SPED Interventionists Praxis Exam. Passing this exam will allow teachers the ability to add this Special Education K - 8 Interventionists Endorsement to their teaching license.

Program Student Learning Outcomes

In-Service teachers will demonstrate their learning by successfully completing the Key Assessments aligned to each course and course standards. Successful teachers will take and pass the K-8 SPED Interventionist Praxis exam, required for the SPED Endorsement.
