General Radiologic Science Concentration

Radiologic science provides opportunities for graduates to have a fulfilling career with advancement opportunities.  Some radiologic professionals obtain images that allow physicians to diagnose diseases and injuries. Others administer high doses of ionizing radiation to treat cancer and other conditions. Radiologic science requires a commitment to compassionate care to all patients. If you are ready to become part of a field that saves lives every day, Austin Peay State University’s Radiologic Science program can start you on your way! The degree is designed to prepare students for application to the radiography and nuclear medicine technology concentrations. Additionally, students who complete the BSRS will meet the bachelor degree requirementfor application to diagnostic medical sonography and radiation therapy certificate programs in Tennessee and beyond.
