AGRI 4800/4801 - Agrometerology (and lab)

Credit Hours: 5 Credit Hours
Prerequisite: GEOG 1010  and MATH 1010  or higher Corequisite: AGRI 4801 (lab)
Description: The meteorological, climatological, and hydrological conditions significant to optimum crop growth and livestock, including regional suitability of crops and livestock, short-term adjustments to minimize losses from adverse weather, and long-range planning based on seasonal forecasts and climate change.  Application of GIS-based software to predict impacts of weather on agriculture.
