MUS 3255 - Elementary Music Methods

Prerequisite:  Successful completion of Junior level hearing and Milestone II  status or permission by department;
An examination and application of elementary music curricula, resources, and pedagogical approaches of Kodály, Orff, Jacques-Dalcroze, and Gordon.  Additional topics include assessment, technological applications, PRAXIS preparation, and guitar, recorder, and Orff-instrument proficiencies.
