AGRI 3390/3391 - Livestock Evaluation and Selection (and lab)

Prerequisite: AGRI 1310  Corequisite: AGRI 3391
Evaluation and selection of various livestock species including cattle, swine, sheep, and horses.  Ability to relate phenotype to the genetic merit of livestock in selecting breeding stock animals.  Understanding the relationship between appearance and carcass merit of food animals and performance in horses.
